This clip is from the Pilot epidode. Lots of action and adventure in this one. No wonder it sold.

"Annie Gets Her Man" was actually the 2nd Pilot. The first Pilot was deemed to sacarine and Billy(Father Knows Best). had grown too much so they looked around to find a "new" Tagg. They hired Jimmy and changed the formula. The chemistry worked.

He appeared on The Ozzie & Harriet series ('61-'65)and played Elvis Presley's sidekick in 2 MGM Musicals "Girl Happy" and "Spinout". He later became a Motion Picture and TV Producer. • gail davis was a "hottie" in her time.

  • I'm watching her in a Gene Autry movie right now. She did a lot with him. I believe Annie Oakly was produced by Autrys Flying A Productions. He was fond of her apparently.

  • I wanted to be her.

  • You could have worn a pair of Dale Evans boots, or they had boot tops that you would slip over your shoes. If you had the whole outfit today in the original box, it would be worth about $2-300. Gail Davis never forgot her fans. I wrote to her a few years before she died and she sent me a signed photo of her as "Tv's Annie Oakley."

  • @overbrookXXX When I was five I got an official Annie Oakley outfit for my birthday: Red skirt and vest with yellow fringe, a gun, holster, and cowboy hat. I would have my mother braid my hair, too! The only thing lacking was a pair of cowboy boots, so I wore my snow boots that whole summer!

I agree with you, she was sooooo cool!
