http://www.MixedMediaWorkshops.com Art Cards Editions and Originals have developed from the ATC/Artist Trading Card craze. Search eBay for ACEO and become a collector. Artists can use ACEOs as thumbnail sketches to work out the compositions and colors for larger works. An original art collection is now affordable as you can purchase these ACEOs from $5 up to $500 or more.

  • Do you know of any groups to join for artists who want to sell these?

  • @LordAntonis over on eBay, where they were created 5 years ago, there are several groups containing thousands of artists who sell their art cards there. If you do a search for ACEO on eBay, you will get thousands of auctions to come up and in one of those artists' stores you will find the names of some of the groups.

  • So the ACEOs are for sale and the ACTs are just for trading?

  • Yes. ACEO = Art Cards Editions and Originals

    ATCs = Artist Trading Cards

  • Whoohoo! Thanks for this, Deb. I'm gonna use it anytime someone asks me what it is, and on my blog and web site. I feel lazy to explain every time someone asks, hehe.

  • It really IS a lot easier to show someone a video rather than writing it all out again and again! I'm so glad to be able to make videos! It makes teaching and stuff soooo much easier!

  • I love making and collecting ACEO's and in a bid to make them more popular I have just created a Facebook page 'ACEO Art Cards', for artists to exhibit their work and collectors to share recommendations etc. Please take a look and join in, and lets make these wonderful little pieces of art more popular!

  • i love making these!!!

  • I just looked over your channel page...nice vids! If you think you might want to teach any online classes, come see what we are doing in Ning. There are about 300 artists in the group I created and 17 of them are going to be delivering online classes this year.

    There is a link to the group on my channel page. Check it out and let me know if you are interested in being an instructor! :D

  • Thanks for sharing this. I had an idea about this but I like the way you explained it.I started some a two years ago but never really got into it again, now after I have seen your video, ...hmmm who knows:)
