So, instead of making tiers mean a lot, why not play for fun?

Perhaps you may end winning a tournament with a so-called bad character in a fighting game just like Rachel or Carl. Just sayin' ;)

@squallgallardo I'm just saying that tiers do matter and doesn't change no matter who plays them since tier-lists are based on overall matchups and in some cases, frame data.

But I'll finish by saying that unless you're trying to play in tournaments or whatnot,

you should just pick who you're comfortable with.

All characters can be low tier or high tier depending on the user....

This proves that Matsu is one of the best Rachel's around, and because most of the people went through that "low-tier" bull, there is not much Rachel players around.

Tiers are for assholes....¬¬

@squallgallardo Look at how much Rachel has to work for her damage, yet pretty much any character can do the same in one-two combos.

Besides, today's tier-lists are based on overall matchups against certain characters,

and look at Rachel, she barely has any wins over anyone than herself, that's a balance flaw. Still, i agree, find a character you like and just use it,

don't take tier-lists so seriously and just enjoy the game (says the guy who can't bear to main any character over high-mid tier)

@CrimsonMoonM LOL Yeah, for example I know I suck with Bang, but I can really main Ragna and Hazama. Rachel is fun to use, as Carl.....Hell, I even play better Arakune than Bang, just hate doing combos with him (no harm intended to Bang users, I respect all of you).

No. it is proven that overall, all other characters just got too many advantages over him. This is a fact for Rachel too, she is bad, that doesn't mean a skilled player can't win with her, but that doesn't make her disadvantage against the rest of the cast any less true.

Rachel is becoming better and better as the game goes on. Plus honestly Matsu pretty much had Yumura in the first round but I think was too scared to take a combo,barrier bursted, and tried to have time run out and win the round but it ended up screwing him over. You still have to give all these players credit since pretty much all their matches are also their practice time since the console version isn't out yet. So kudos for both of them for learning as they play.

From what I've seen, I'd compare Rachel to Snake from Smash Bros. While she's obviously not as strong as Snake, she can set the opponent up for major damage, like Snake and his 'nades and mines.

@teepofoulu Keep in mind I am a little biased for a Rachel because come on. Look what they did to her T.T I got Cs yesterday and I am tring to main her and well... I cant really combo with her. TT.TT But Im trying. And whats 720, I dont know these number thingys

Sheesh, you need to go take a look at Potempkin (he is by far better and stronger than Tager) 720 cannot be combo'ed or you can tech it, if you didn't tech it it is your fault. With regaurds to pretty much everyone else but rachel, They can do just as much or more damage with 50 Heat as his throw. Half the damage and his normal command throws hit harder and can be combo'ed from not to mention puts the person into Gadget finger wake-up game.

Sorry, but that was a good Rachel and she deserved that match. To hell with Tager's Atomic Collider and Distortion. People abuse it so hard.
