  • Wow, incredible vid! Do you know the title of this song?

  • @TrumpetHero15 Many thanks. This sound bed was a free track within sondtrack pro. Sorry i really can't remember the name of it as i edited this over a year ago

  • thanks for posting this -great stuff - i have the same camera.

Question: there are no time lapse setting in this camera correct? When you speed it up in FCP does that not eat alot of disk space or does speeding it up automaticially drop frames?

  • @valleystv Yes you are correct. You have to do all speed ups in post eg FCP.

So yes you have to record the info first which uses more disk space and spped up in the time line.Once its done and you export, obviously the file size will be smaller as the duration is way shorter.

    Hope this helps

  • @danmartland question, at what speed did you change this to in FCP?

  • @GeekF8 I usually edit to the music, so i marked in and out on the time line where i wanted the edit to take place and used the "Fit to Fill" option with my original clip. Hey Presto!

Well after filming in real time. I brought it into the edit using final cut pro and sped it up in the motion tab. Either that way, or you can mark and in and out point in the timeline (maybe to the music or time) and then drag it into the canvas window and use the fit to fill button. Really simple!!

  • how did you do the whole time-lapse procedure after filming?

  • Post...as the HM100 doesnt have this feature.

  • I'm assuming that you are doing the 'time lapse' in post production right? Or, is there a feature on the camera?
