It is so important for any preacher of the gospel to permit his listeners that Christ died for their sins.
I also grew up with this hymn. I miss the days of the Easter Bonnets and dressing up for Easter Sunday. Also, I miss the family get-togethers on Easter. Jesus died and was crusified; but too much emphasis is placed on his death. Jesus lives! Jesus never died. He is one of us; and NOT ME!

at the church i use to go too they would always sing this song at easter. now the church i go to doesn't sing this song.
