After a total detail I add sta-bil to a nearly empty tank, add fresh fuel & drive home. I park my warmed up car on fresh plastic sheeting for a vapor barrier, hook up my battery minder; put on my car cover and tuck the plastic under the cover. It is totally unnecessary to start your car during short-term "winter" storage, ie 1 NOV - 1 MAY. as is resting your car on jack stands. I'm from Minnesota; so storing my toys for the winter is an annual ritual. My process has never let me down.

Not really......My mom has a 95 5.0 and i have a 94 5.0 there not really "rare" so to say but you don't see many of them because people thought they were ugly.

I see you've had your car in storage. I'm thinking of putting mine in too over the winter. What should I do to it before putting it away for 3-4 months? Any gas additives or anything I should consider?
