  • I'd say: How NOT to instal heater grip pads!

Heat shrink... Was it really that tough to remove the grips, stick the pad on the handlebar and put the grip back on???

If you're going to post a "HOW TO" video, at least, do it right.

  • @marceau818 did you read what was written in video ? They were installed on top of grips so it would be warmer!!!! Because putting them under grips was not enough as for me. I tried.

And again - this is just a method how you can install pads to improve heat. Of course it will be better to buy normal grips and not invent anything.

  • @klmn1001 To improve heat? Where the hell are you riding? I ride in Canada @ - 30 and I haven't felt the need to instal them like an ass...

  • @marceau818 good for you. I would look how you will drive with pads for 5$ in Canada -30 :) In this case you definitely need to buy a bit better pads that these. :) And in that case you can put them anywhere you want.

And again - this is JUST A METHOD OF INSTALLATION IF PADS ARE NOT WARM ENOUGH!!!

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

    A) Can you just connect to the frame for the negative and it works?

    B) Any problems with the pads over the grips instead of under?

  • @SaroopD Hi ,

    A) Yeap.

B)Problems... yes , there is one - heat shrink a bit weakened and started to rotate on the grips. But they really saved my arms in the cold mornings. :)

  • good vid.The music is a bit much and hurts the ears.

  • @klmn1001 Welcome buddy! ;)

  • @Henniebrandweer I'm not a seller.. And I don't recommend to buy currently these pads (by the way I didn't say a word about cost or seller or vendor or anything) it's just a method of installing pads.. ANY pads..

However my cheap pads works fine.. both pads heats equally.. and no problems for 4 months already (except that heat-shrink on throttle grip a bit fell free to move around) considering that I ride every day to the work at any weather

Sorry if I entered you into misconception.

  • Im Buying Oxford Heated Grips.. rather saving up a but.. I dont recommend these at all!
