Amazing Perth Christmas lights 2009 by Messages On Hold

In 09 50,000 LEDs, 6km cables, 176 channels of light were synced to music at 5 Bishop Riley Way, Churchlands. We raised $27k for Perth's children's hospital and $25k in 2010. Messages On Hold boss and Entrepreneur of the Year Kym Illman sets aside hundreds of hours each Christmas to produce this jaw dropping display. Help from Christmas Kingdom, Starburst, Coates, Mort Bay, WIlson Security, Allround Electrical, Project Renovation, Galvins and Tonya, Jayce and Tyler Illman is also appreciated!

Let's think about that. It uses about $6/night in power. Hundreds of locals walking over to our home nightly aren't running their plasmas and air con units. Saving - $30/night. It doesn't take a mental giant to work out, the nett energy effect is positive, but the real benefit is the pure joy on adults' AND children's faces. Turn your plasma and air con unit off and walk over one night, Starburst will even stump up for a free lollipop for you!

Awesome job Tonyal. Quick question, I have 2 *16 channel controllers (nothing close to yours :) ) I find the hardest part is all of the extension cords.  Since you have way more channels, how do you manage all the cables that run back to the controllers?
