The Concierto de Aranjuez is a composition for classical guitar and orchestra by the Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo. Written in 1939, it is probably Rodrigo's best-known work, and its success established his reputation as one of the most significant Spanish composers of the twentieth century.

  • ¿Imaginó el maestro Rodrigo la posibilidad de una interpretación semejante?

  • why does this only have 3435 views? we are obviously dying or the few move the all.

  • This kind of music, being based on the popular second movement, is perfect for walking on a summer's day, along an arid street, where nary a few people would gaze at the mysterioso traveler, as he would journey for a good bite to eat. OOH! I just amazed myself!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the interpretation of this in the movie "School of Rock" starring Jack Black, even though it was shortened in the movie. BTW it's not on the soundtrack.
