The new DVD Headlocks and Haymakers (based on the book by Ari Bolden) is Jiu Jitsu for the concrete arena. Base on concepts taken from Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Headlocks and Haymakers is over 2 hours on length.

This DVD has offensive, defensive and arresting techniques included. Great for martial artists, police, security and general self defense practitioners.

  • Ari Do you hold a Dan grade in any system I know you're a purple belt in BJJ.

  • @chavamma Yes. In Jujitsu and Aikido

  • i always assume that these moves wouldn't work in real life because the assistant isn't fighting back. But Sub.101 always makes me think twice. The assistant always looks as if he is in some real pain, even though its a demonstration.

    Keep up the great work.

  • @TheSkoolNINjaz every move shown are techniques I've used many times over the last 16 years in the security business. All dvd techniques have to be done in a controlled manner or the assistants would sustain real, permanent injuries. we try and show it with as much real intent as possible (therefore some pain is involved :-)

  • The lastest DVD from Ari Bolden based on the book he wrote in 2005 by the same title. Coming from Cranesproduction in the Summer of 2011

  • I just push their elbow outward as soon as I feel them getting that headlock on me. Has worked quite a few times for me.

  • I am super stoked to see you doing a street combat application, I hope you keep them coming.

  • Great technique

  • @ProfessorChaos1982 I know exactly how that feels as well.

  • i would just slam him but thats just me

  • @Submissions101 Hey, I've seen quite a few headlock escapes, maybe even some from your previous vids. I'm not so sure, however, show us how to escape from one where the assailant has a really good crank on the head and is dipping it downwards tightly, thanks.

  • Awesome title!

  • Fkn sweet!

  • @reafdaw01 Loose are you?

  • @ProfessorChaos1982 Bah Oxygen Shmoxygen. Only loosers need to breath.
