Kishore Kumar, no doubt, is a great singer. But what Mehdi Hassan did to this song nobody could ever even reach there. Plus, compare the acting, Rajesh Khanna was fab but Nadeem was just perfect... BUT Salma Agha ewww did a pathetic job, no emotions, she looks like a dead body... BUT SHABNAM was mind blowing. An original is original, and a copy a copy.

@linesyou Sir what I said is that "Mehdi Hassan couldn't prove in centuries", if you read my complete sentence so it relates with Kishore Kumar that what the later has presented emotions, Mehdi Hassan can't prove these emotions in centuries. I didn't say at all that Mehdi Hassan can't be proven or been produced in centuries. It is all the way different sentence.

this is not about movie, this is all about song. And Kishore style beated Mehdi Hassan. Simple is that.,..

@bandaal1 I am a KISHORE fan .Kishore sang a lot of beautiful songs. but let us focus on this one. to understand this beautiful song you will first have to understand LOVE . Love and Revenge can never co-exist . if there is Revenge than there is no love , and if there is no love than there is no lover ... SO.. This song is complete over acting by singer , actor , and director, No lover creates revenge feeling for its lover.

Neither Rajesh Khanna nor Kishor Kumar can match the excellence of Nadeem and Mehdi Hassan respectively. Infact Rajesh Khanna's expressions are very immature . Nadeem on the other hand mesmerizes his audience with his in depth acting skills. You can watch the orignal song and decide yourselves.
