This is the one and only time you will see me talking about how to eradicate or get rid of ants, but we get a lot of mail asking how to deal with ant problems in the home, so this video reponse to DiwataMan2 is also directed to those who may be wondering. Lastly, this video is not an AntsCanada tutorial lol!

  • I'm suppose to be sleep, but I keep seeing more and more interesting videos that you have.

  • @packleader1215 Haha! Thanks! Feel free to continue looking around as there is a tonne of neat ant things to check out at this channel. Lots more to come, as well!

  • Thanks AntsCanada! That was great. Sorry I made you talk about getting an exterminator as its counter intuitive to your work. If I do find the nest I wouldn't mind transferring the queen(s) outside but would they survive? They don't really bother me so much as they do my wife and I think it's because of all the horror movies she's watched and now I really freaked her out by showing her photos of them, lol. Well thanks, again.

  • @DiwataMan2 LOL! No problem at all. If you do manage to somehow locate the nest and obtain the bulk of the colony with the queen (try using a dust buster to suck them up), you can let them go outside somewhere by digging a hole, dumping them in and placing a flat rock over it. The ants should be able to survive on their own in the wilderness, but if it's a species that favours homes (e.g. Odourous House Ants), they may find their way into another home. Use this knowledge to your advantage LOL!

  • ye i still need to find winged ants lol

  • @XDigdug45X You will! Just keep your eyes open this year until the end of Fall. I believe in you!
