Alicea & Ithacappella "Jingle Bells"

Yeah, yeah. So I'm about 2 weeks too late on this one, but I'll be danged if this is not the best post-Christmas version of Jingle Bells you're going to see!

When Ithacappella came to PS22 yesterday, we kept the Ithaca College choir members pretty busy! Aside from singing with the chorus (see our 2 previously posted videos), the guys gave a presentation for the fifth grade in the auditorium, serenaded our security guard 'Babbsy,' and walked the halls of PS22 singing for our lower grade students and teachers in different classrooms. In our travels, we encountered second-grader Alicea. And the most spontaneous and adorable collaboration ever took place!

I love the look that she gives you at about 55 sec, it's like "oh, ok, you're right, i am a star and these guys are my background singers. it's cool" I just love seeing a bunch of guys singing background for a 2nd grader. her vibrato, and her ability to know about when to go soft or full out is amazing. way beyond her years.
