Price is Right showcase, a very close difference between the two contestants. See how close to each other to win the showcase. The $5 difference is the 2nd closest in The Price is Right history. Record was $1 back in the Bob Barker era back in the 1970s.

  • 0:42 Great audience response.

  • Interesting to note though, is if you look at percent difference, the $1 record is 0.31% of the lowest bid difference and 0.00042% of the lowest bid amount, while this is 0.26% of the lowest bid difference and 0.00026% of the lowest bid amount. So, this is actually closer considering the higher prices.

It happened on the Dennis James version once in 1972. Each contestant won the showcase they bid on.

  • @CincinnatiLibra05 it happened in 1972.

  • @davidlee110 I Can't Find That Video

  • This raises an interesting question: has there ever been a tie in the Showcase? In other words, both contestants' bids were off by the exact amount?

  • I love it how the audience realized it before Drew did. And the guy's reaction when he realized he won.

  • watch?v=U882BPTBwKo is the DSW $30 and $29 one.

  • Wow that is very close!

Great bidding from both of them!
