Please dont kill me! Ha. I've had so much coursework and outer school curriculum to get us prepped for our GCSE's, which is probably the equivalent to finals for American's if I'm right. School's have decided to start doing them earlier instead of in our final year... Yeah sucks for us.

Demi's POV.
He looked at me through pained eyes and nodded, interlacing his fingers together.
"Nick, you already know how sorry I am. But after this," I threw my hands out towards him suggesting about the car accident. "I realise how stupid I actually was. You've always told me you dont know what you've got, till its gone and now when I think about those words, I realise just how true they actually are." I exhaled, knowing the tears would soon come even though I wanted to get through my speech. "When I got the news that youd been in an accident, my heart broke. I thought to myself, what if that was the last time I'd ever gotten to speak to you... Our last words would have been during a fight, nothing good. And out of all our memories together, that would been the one that replayed in my head for the rest of my life. How much I hurt you, how much I broke you I would off blamed myself until I died, and thats the honest truth. The car ride here was killing me slowly, I just wanted to know you were safe, you were in good condition because if you werent I would of died inside, and I wouldnt been able to have this baby. I guess all Im trying to say is, we're glad your okay," I said putting my hands to my stomach. "and that I'm sorry." I was shocked, actually beyond shocked that I hadnt cried during the whole thing. I went to stand back up and walk out knowing that it was up to him now, but Nicks hand pulled me back.
Nicks POV.
I pulled Demi back, wanting her to hear what I had to say now. She turned around and looked down at me.
"Come here," I offered her the space next to me, and patted the bed. She took a step back and sat down next to me trying to make as little eye contact as possible.
"Look at me." She turned and faced me while I took her hands in mine.
"Your right, life is to short. And yes, you dont know what you've got till its gone. Thats why I realise I want to be with you, and if I was to give up now on our relationship I'd be an ass. Look, when two people have a love as strong as ours, it's too strong to just let go. And if your able to let go easily, well... You were never in love." And on that note, I placed my hands on the sides of her face and rested my face against hers. For a moment we stared into each others eyes in silence, I could hear her breathing and then the next, I gently placed my lips to hers. It was a soft, short kiss but it was just what we needed.
We pulled away and I felt something wet on my cheek. I wiped it, then realised it was a tear... But I wasnt the one it came from. I saw a single tear running down Demi's cheek and before it reached her chin, I wiped it away.
"Now, you didnt think you'd be getting rid of me that easily did you?" I said smiling.
"I was hoping not." She spoke softly, still recovering from the kiss it had seemed.
She engulfed me in a hug, and held me tight while she said the words. "I love you so much Nick."
"And I love you too."
