  • LSW is Lam Sai Wing right?

I'm learning the Tiet Sin Kuen from his book. For some reason, I've looked all over youtube for the version in his book, but no one does it. They're all variations from the different Hung Gar systems. Why doesn't anyone seem to know the book's version? I'm sure he wrote it himself, and I doubt he would change the form for his book.

  • well, you´re assuming the pages are in the right sequence, but maybe it is not!! (check the other 2 books), and also it may have reps from many movements, not described in the book, and also, I am not doing the sequence as I learned, strictu sensu...

  • missing parts, and vocal parts are somewhat wrong...but glad to see others practicing Hung Ga...

  • if you wanna see it done in the correct way, please visit me. I´m glad to exchange techniques and improve skills.

  • @SeijiiNakamaru I know this is late in coming but lam Sai Wing did not write the books. They were written by Gu Yu Jai his student. Photos taken by Chea another student. It is impossible to learn this correctly from the book. Too many details to the form.

  • 0:40 Yee Gee Kim Yeung Ma stance ;)

  • I love that music. Anybody tell me who it is? Plz...

  • I like this video!

  • hey at least he's doing something

  • And Silly to think you can learn the proper breathing without a well educated sifu... It took 3yrs but I was fortunate enough to find one.

  • Yes getting off ones butt and actually practicing is better than talking and criticizing without knowing.

  • that´s a good question. maybe the answer is: after 10, 20 years playing, and exchanging knwoledge with other well trained guys, people will get that. what u see on external not necessarily gives the real aspects of the internal. I´ve learned 3 different versions of Ng Yin Kuen, the dragon sections were pretty different at all. I don´t classify them as right/wrong, just different. each one has good things to learn and explore. It´s up to you. Better than watch is play everyday.

  • Very true, each lineage has differents versions of the pillars. Some vary greatly while others only a little.

Someone said in an earlier comment 'generally accepted by the original school'. Well, original school could technically refer to the Hung Kuen of Hung Hei Gun, the founder, several hundred years before this form was invented or even added to Hung Kuen. Unless you mean Wong Fei Hung's original school and he had over a thousand students as did LSW, good luck finding the original one.
