Wow, thanks for posting this!! I was at this concert, it was in Bantry House the year before Frank died...it was one of the best gigs I've ever been at and it awakened my interest in the english song tradition in Ireland... It is indeed Donal Lunny accompanying him.. Magic!!

frank passed away in june 2005. you can read a bio on wikipedia.

I didn't know Frank died. I took a class from him in W. VA in l986.. I am sorry he died. What happened to him? When did he die?

Frank recorded the well known version of The Spanish Lady on his second album. On the sleeve notes he mentions this other version, and says the numbers mean "she had the odds and evens of it, in other words she had everything".
