Nice car and really nice sound!! I drive a E28 with S38B38 with carbon airbox and stainless exhaust.

Whatever you say that is one hell of a ferocious monster, in as much as i love the 3.8 i still love the raw unrefined attitude of the 3.6 plus they are more robust as opposed to the 3.8 that though a jewel of an engine you need to treat with a bit more sympathy

Its called s38b36
There is also the 3.8 version s38b38
A e23 should have a m106;)

Hi SALLEPWR ur car sounds superb n its a 3.6 from d e34 second time i've heard a lovely sounding 3.6er but i assumed u changed d air box cause i've got last mint 6sp 3.8 n sound great but not as meaty as urs.

Yes and no. I had a original airbox, but with the front cover removed (didnt fit)
