In early October each year, the historic Korean town of Jinju holds a lantern festival to commemorate their resistance under seige from the Japanese. This is a low light test of the Canon 550D (Rebel T2i). ISO is typically 1600 - 3200.

Lens: The Tamron 18-270mm is a slow lens but I picked if for its zoom capability to grab shots from across the giant river. As you can see, Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) does an excellent job. It's a pain to manually focus the thing though.

  • @mesho512 It's quite a good combination :-) also consider the Canon 60D! Although the 550D is great :)
