It's funny.... everyone says that they choose Japanese over English just because of the voices... but I like Eng better because in Jap you have to read the subs and I never really get to see what's going on in the animation..... just staring at subs.... the whole movie..... lol

It's much better in Japanese.

@AnimeLover51013 that's why I personally like the dub more...as an English speaker. The animation is just too good for my eyes to read subtitles. :D

This is the only one of Kon's films in which I prefer the dub to the original, I just love Konikawa's dub voice, it's much warmer =)

i hear it often but i have no trouble reading subtitles and watching at the same time, so i often watch the original over the dubbed

Do you recognise the movies scenes ?... After Tarzan you have the scene in the Train, which is from From Russia with Love.
But the scene where Paprika hits a guy with a guitar, I don't know where it comes from...

It's funny how at the end of Paprika, you can see the woman's massive TITTIES!

Dude. This is soo cool. I'd watch it again in English just to see how well they did :3 Though I agree I do prefer the Japanese one. However I go on the basis of which one I see first. If I've seen it first in English then I'll prefer that and vice versa. :)

Americans and other english speaking countries are always lazy at reading subtitles, I think that is the reason they watch only american movies/series. I do always prefer the original, in special because there are cultures where voice inflections are part of their acting, that is not easy to spot in dubbed movies, specially japanese ones.

@Mikemc English dubbing tries to keep the script %90 accurate but things can get "lost in translation". It's either because the mouth flaps of the character don't match the translated dialouge or certain meanings can only be understood by Japanese viewers, so they have to tweak it a little so the English speakers can understand. But you should know, subbing is not very accurate either.
Where did you get the dubbed version?
