  • That's a cool car. Looks like an MA inspection sticker. Here in VA, antiques don't have to be inspected if you have antique plates on it.

  • I sure remember these Model-As when I was a boy during the 1930s, I learned how to float shift them. Excellent memory of a great old car.

  • Nicely done on the shifts. Most modern 'boxes are constant-mesh (e.g., ZF, Tremec, New Process, Muncie/GM, even the synchro-less Jerico), but sliding gears were the norm for 1940's and sooner vehicles such as the 3-speed "crashbox" this car.
