I recall seeing this film as a kid,but the only scene I remembered was when Moe said that she was tired and wanted to die. Skip treats the police as if they are just another gang on the street. When the cop gets hit with the gun it looks phoney when someone obviously threw that cat into the scene. If they had just came out and said that Candy was a hooker it would have made her less sympathetic.Widmark was 39 when he made this,but looks younger. Jean Peters died in 200 at the ripe old age of 73.

@PhotonDrive Since Fuller wrote the script himself presumably, he could change it at will. But I agree.

Enjoyed this immensely...great suspenseful action thriller...like a taut rope from start to finish...time moved so quickly...before I know it it's the final scene!!

Jean Peters was a real dish. Great movie
Candy sure recovered quick from that gun-shot wound! I'm glad - she was far too sexy to get bumped off! Thank you Mr. Fuller for changing the script!
