i'm just learning the guitar (i can play, "Lead me to the cross" and a song i personally created, but that's it), and am no pro, and i've had people tell me that God really wants to hear skilled playing... but that's a lie. simple and plain.

He doesn't care whether we're a pro or amateur, He just cares what our motives are, and whether we truly love Him or not.

There is no skill involved, He never said he wants pros, He just want you to praise him with your heart, with a "joyful noise". That means whatever noise comes from your mouth or hands, it dosent matter as long as it is being exerted out of joy in your heart for Christ love. Thank you for the encouraging words sister.
