Born as a studio project by members of Frankenbok, Extra Virgin and Tension, FIVE STAR PRISON CELL is an experimental tech/math metal outfit from Melbourne. Adam and Cam talk about their 3rd studio Album 'Matriarch', their work with producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, Dead Letter Circus) and why this release is a lighter change to their darker preceeding album 'Slaves Of Virgo'. Sydney bands KAHN OF K and DELOREAN TIDE also played on the bill.

Fuck yeah I saw these guys at Metalstock a few years ago...awesome band! They've taken heaps from Dillinger Escape Plan....especially from when Mike Patton was in the band
