Marco Andretti: Celebrity Apprentice?

What does Marco Andretti have in common with crazy man Gary Busey and the feathery-haired Rod Blagojevich?

Celebrity Apprentice...we think. You know, that show hosted by the guy who threatened to run for president with some crazy hair of his own.

The story broke that Mario's grandson/Michael's son will be joining vintage hottie Cheryl Tiegs, amongst others, on the fifth season of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice.

We tried to talk with Marco about this exciting development, but he seemed surprised at the inquiry and would "neither confirm nor deny" that he'll be appearing on the program.

He did, however talk a bit about what to expect in Sunday's IZOD IndyCar World Championships.

As it turned out, Marco was to appear but pulled out because of grieving over the death of Sandy's father (his grandfather) and the crash that Sunday's race (Indy Racing League LLC was investigating the crash during taping).

Going on Celebrity Apprentice won't give Marco any training whatsoever for IndyCar an Formula One. He's better off racing on the track.
