Who is an urban creative?
An urban creative is any individual that lives in an urban area and works in or contributes to the creative industries.

The project is a look at the socioeconomic, spacial and educational factors that affect the levels of achievement and success of urban creatives.

The project is made up of mini and micro projects across multiple forms of media.

There are many people in New York City with dreams, aspirations and goals that share very similar obstacles. The Urban Creative Project is about asking questions - questions that turn discussion into action and change. It is about focusing on schools of thought, creative individuals and groups. The project is about asking questions that develop practices and institutions of guidance and mentorship in the creative community.

The project is about urban creatives around the world. The first phase of the project focuses on the NYC metropolitan area. Future locations include cities around the world including Tokyo, London, Manila, Lagos,
Chicago, Mexico City, Minneapolis, Moscow, Beijing, and Miami. As the project grows additional location will be added.
