@TheLazyFrodo hey I actually like Val Kilmer as Batman. He kinda kicked ass. And that movie wasn't too bad either, and could've really worked except the studio made him cut some scenes...it also would've helped if someone less crazy could've codirected with Schumacher. For Batman & Robin on the other hand, your statement is completely correct.

It's his fault for accepting/auditioning for the role. Did you know that Michael Keaton (best batman ever) dropped out of Batman Forever after WB dropped Tim Burton as director. He was even offered 35 MILLION dollars to accept the role, but the screenplay/script was such a piece of shit that he refused. But your right though, the rest of the cast in both movies (besides Arnold) are all highly respected and critically acclaimed actors. Just not the right role for them.

i blame joe schumacher. batman forever, wasn't bad at all. tommy lee jones played two face really well. jim carrey played his zaney self, but with a bit more malice, which worked well.
batman + robin sucked full stop.
