You know I had the same feeling. His passing made me sadder than I imagined it would. We knew he was very ill and would pass soon, but it still shocked me and saddened me deeply. I guess it makes one think of their own mortality in a more acute way.

Such a visionary genius to trust his life to voodoo alternative medicine knowing that millions were invested in his overvalued luxury toy company that sent so many manufacturing jobs to China.

unfortunately, Windows was the superior originator of the the accessible/ widespread computer. without the competition and development from them apple would not be where it is today. on that note apple may have been swallowed alive if it were not for steve. sorry.

Good stuff.
Steve Jobs was for sure a revolutionary. But what I think it bears saying that what he lived for was life on earth. Making life better by doing what he loved, in order to please his customers was his driving passion. Could it be that he was a great genius, who never fully understood the purpose for which he was created? This question, for Jobs and everyone else, may well be life's most important question. Have you sought to understand the fullness of the purpose for which you were created?
