Arx fatalis cheats and codes

Hi all you Arx fans out there!

I finally colleted some codes and cheats in Arx Fatalis, and I am sharing my knowledge with you. First of all, this video does not contain all the codes( because the ones I did not include suck ) and all the spells and stuff are collected in a document: RPGDot's official Arx guide( to download it directly use this link: http://users.atw.hu/bokreta/arx.rar ). So you'll find completely everithing about Arx in this document.

Ok, now about the video...

The 3 parts of the video:
1) A nice bug with chickens
2) Magic codes, cheats drawn by spells
3) The only cheat in Arx( the bone and the chair stuff)

So first of all, try it on any chickens, keep double clicking on them, until they explode into a roast chicken.:)
( useful for the people who doesn't want to spoil a fireball at a chicken )
Secondly here are the spells as shown:
MAX - Maxes out our character, gives a boost to our skills, plus we gain all the runes.
SOS - Reveals the entire map - all levels.
POM - Gives us a powerful sword - could recieve it from lord Inut
SAM - Gives us a deadly bow - this would be the other weapon from lord Inut( the code for it is not SAM SAM, it's only SAM, first time the code was not written perfectly, so I had to draw it again )
Stair Icon * 3 - passwall code, draw this to activate/disable passwall
SDSD - Super deformed, every character has big head( can be turned off )
RAF - 'Raf mode', boost up speed permanately!( cannot be turned off )
PLPL - A little graphic effect, messes up the stats( 3 states of it )
UW - A mode which gives a tribune to the game: Ultima underworld( lower level textures, nothing more really ) - it is fu*kin' hard to draw, I was lucky to be able to draw it at once

At 6:18 the other video start, where I demonstrate how to enable ourselves some goods through cheating. Gives us a meteor sabre, an ylsed armor( requires 12 strength though! ), and some things which we can hack our gameplay a little...

According to the comments, you need to patch your arx to be version 1.17 in order to use the cheats - except the chicken thing...

So this is it folks, enjoy it, don't ask us any more on how to use cheats in Arx, because I wrote down every info I know( and can be known ) about Arx cheats.

Programs I used to make this video, or what is this:
0) Arx Fatalis 1.17 (Russian version)
1) Fraps 2.9 to capture gameplay( makes enormous videos, needs to be compressed )
2) VirtualDub to compress video
3) Cool Edit Pro 2.0 to compress audio

can somone explain HOW THE FUCK I ACTALLY CAST A SPELL, i have runes, i know hwo to pull up the magic casting thing, i make the moves the runes come up on the top right but thats it?

How about playing with the game before actually using cheats, noob... I cannot belive, that you cannot even cast the most basic and most used thing in this game: casting. Have you read the tutorial? This video is for people who know how to cast a spell in the game. I will tell you how, you need a PC version and set the keys to default:

In the game:

Stand still, hold down ctrl. While holding down the left mouse button, you can draw. Draw a symbol, as in the book, then let the mouse button up.

@Lalli1987 Then while still holding the ctrl: draw another symbol. If a correct combination is displayed on the top right of your HUD, then release ctrl. Voila.

@cosminsavenco Let's clarify one and for ever: In 1.17 I was able to activate ALL the cheats given. With the latest patch, it's ridiculously hard to activate them (read: practically impossible) so I strongly suggest you don't even waste your time trying.

But on 1.17 it's not hard, it might take a few tries, but I recall that it was not hard at all

@lordvivecjjj thanks,but the MAX and the change face cheats finally worked,i missed up the "A" a little,BUT IT WORKED ! I have patch 1.17 but man ! The cheats are really hard to be pulled on !

@cosminsavenco erm, I meant that in 1.17 version it was very easy to ACTIVATE cheats (and deactivate too). I guess that in patches they made spells easier to pull off, but cheats nearly impossible...

Maybe you can play without patches just to enjoy cheats

@Lalli1987 I know how to draw spells but,i draw the same symbols as you did and NOTHING ! Is the cheat turned off ? If yes,then how do i turn it ON ?

Oh, and BTW I remember pulling off cheats very easily with the 1.17 version...

they didn't disabled cheats with the latest patches, they just made them ridiculously hard to pull off

What this game about? Does it have some badass magic weapons such as meteor storm and flamethrower? something like that
