The last tire is "better" than a Blizzak and $80?? In what country??? You can't find a USED Blizzak for under $100!!

Yeah, Armor All dissolves the oils in the tire and they rot faster. Not to mention it makes the tires slippery if it gets on the tread, plus it can get on the paint and make dirt stick to that. Better off just to clean them with a mild soap and water.

michelins are pretty good, a friend of mine has a blazer and we were all over the county yesterday and they did really good

I used the Michelin X-ice tires for 2 winter seasons up here in the hills of Duluth, MN and I'd have to be honest that while they did well overall and were sometimes impressive in hard packed snow, I wasn't all that impressed with their performance overall -- especially when the snow starts to get 6+ inches. They probably need more aggressive tread blocks to bite into deep snow. I'm going to give Nokians a try this year.

Had Nokians. Had Michelins. Nokians rule in snow or ice but they SUCK on dry cold asphalt. Michelins rule on dry cold asphalt but suck in snow or ice. I drive 98% in the city or highway so i Michelins were a better match for me.

She keeps interrupting too much, but winter tires are a good thing. My Hakkapelittas are fantastic in the snow, I would recommend them or other snowtires with the snowflake in the mountain on them. Goodyear Nordic are pretty good but not great on ice. Check Canadian Tire for reviews on the Nordics. Most are positive , except for some road noise.
