my first attempt at working friction brakes for a Coasterdynamix model.

The servo is controlled from a Basic Stamp.
I usually do not like music dubbed over a video - but the original audio was very poor.

  • whats that purple thing at 44 seconds into the video?

  • @shuster567 That is a micro servo that I bought at a hobby shop. Its actually intended to be used in RC airplanes.

  • so you have to hook the brakes up to a computer????

  • A computer is not need to run the brakes, just a microcontroller. I have it hooked to the laptop for visual feedback of the program.

  • oh cool, great!

I looked for the batman trains but I can't find them what website or what forum did you search on Coaster Dynamix?

  • I am afraid they are not available due to licensing issues.
