@newguy2100 You're the only one in this comment section that can't spell or use grammar. I think you're the idiot, since you didn't comprehend what he said correctly.
@Destructides I checked it up. AbioCor lasts 18 months, which is pathetic compared to the average life expectancy of a human (but incredibly precious time to seek a real replacement for patients). Anyway, the main idea is that while replacing your heart with a machine can keep you alive, you're not really human anymore...
In the end it's all metaphorical, but you get what I mean.
@Nickyh1200 While the message of the song is adequately delivered, I cannot agree with your comment. You may very well replace a human heart with an artificial one, there's even a top-notch device called the AbioCor. As for the heart's neurons (brain cells, if you will), it actually does contain a large number of them which are important for interorganic communication. The heart is not to be understood as a second brain though.
@Camdavis11 Yeah it's meant to be creepy: the idea is that the solutions are sometimes worse than the problems. In this song the person is trying to install an artificial heart (at least if you take it literally), but obviously you can't really replace your heart...that'd be like replacing half of your brain with a micro-computer chip: it simply isn't human anymore.
PS There have been studies proving that the heart contains brain cells. That might help you understand what I mean.

@newguy2100 If you are talking to me, then I mean replace a heart as in shove a machinery into your body to replace the heart, not a transplant...

@Destructides I think he might mean, that while you can in fact replace your heart, if you do you are maybe not so human anymore.

Anyone else notice JoCo's new acoustics? The piano is so great here. Also, creepy lyrics.
"There's blood on the bed, but here in my head, I feel fine."
