  • Thanks, I think I've heard those recordings, and will listen again. I've admired the music of both those great songwriters for so many years. L.

  • If you have any special requests, let me know. L.

  • Thank you. Yes, recording of 10 standards is on the works, maybe by end of Feb or March. Leif.

  • I second the request for portrait in black and White ... such a hauntingly beautiful melody ... your muted horn 'fits' ... and Chet only played it unmuted as far as I know. Way different would be 500 Miles High ... a very very worthwhile chart and a wonderful vehicle for soloing ... love to hear you on those man. All the best ...

  • Leif, Yes I would ssuggest Almost Blue written for Chet by Costello and Portrait in Black & White by Jobim which I think was written for him also. I think with your family of musicans written for Chet by Cus

  • Love your take on Chet's My Funny Valentine are you planning on recording a cd soon?

  • Mouthpiece and reciever look like Bach ... it's a deep cup which I already surmised because of the tone. I play a 197 / 7 bell Bach and got hooked on the sound of the 1B (a killer re range and endurance but beautiful for the sound and articulation) ... all the best from Hong Kong

  • REturned to this a second time ... and I would say I'm discerning ... why I haven't heard you before I just don't know ... I thought those kind of spare and poignant lines died with Miles and Chet ... you keep the tradition alive. Bro please post more of the same genre

  • Wow man from one trumpet player to another ... your lines (muted horn) are beautiful and the tone to die for ... really enjoyed your concept re this chart.
