  • what song and band is that at 1:10 it sorta sounds like james from metallica singing

  • Some of them having shitty lyrics but great music that makes you...trip mentally (without being high), and some of those artists are in my 80's music playlist.

To me music is MANY things, but one of them is definitely making me mentally travel, it's a requirement of most music for me no matter how extreme or melodic and soft it can be, sometimes melodies with deep feelings are amazing (and I don't mean the usual overused "love").

  • And I pretty much found most other kids my age immature and even some metalheads back then.

To me it's very serious, but I don't mean it has to be ultra serious music or anything.

For example, I like Running Wild, the lyrics are not serious but the music is real and serious...and so is Dio's music for example. But all that mainstream MTV garbage isn't serious in any way.

There were some artists in the 80's which you might consider disco that were actually "serious" about it though...

  • ..."I don't like disco or pop or rap because it's gay", I'm very analytic (and always was since I was 7 or so believe it or not) and to put it short, I just thought that was all mediocre and it was a trend, even before starting to listen to metal.

I was also always into dark stuff, but not "satanic", or yeah you could say that since I was always interested in the occult (here comes extreme metal, mostly Black Metal and Satanic Death Metal), but I didn't worship anything or anybody...
