@bamby1561 I missed the first part! Why does he age super fast like that!? Who's immortal!?
-
I was shocked of his getting old... super fast!
-
The most touching scene of the movie :'(

Think of me as I was, kiss me like that.

Am I the only one who noticed that he had wet himself, just when she placed him inside the coffin?

@dianalee84 The novel is 'The Hunger' by Whitley Strieber. It's quite different to the movie.

@sergioutside Actually, she didnt know why this was happening, nor does she expect it to happen to everyone of her lovers. So......there is no need to call Catherine Deneuve a bitch >.>

@Notzi1981 I adore this film, I've seen it so many times and never tire of it..is the book it's based on called 'The Hunger'? I've only just learned from your post that there is a book,I want to read it now! I always felt for the past lovers of Miriam..not being able to die, stuck in a coffin but still having the hunger for blood..like being perpetually strung out for eternity. Catherine Denueve is so beautiful, and Bowie is underrated I think. Great post you wrote.
@IceAngel262: This film *is* sad... it plays on all of life's cruelties: Aging, loss of love, narcissism (i.e. feeding from others) and adds the twist of the damnation of being immortal. Immortality is great, as long as you're healthy! ; )
