@madman5033: Maybe you haven't played this suite before in irregular keys such as B flat major and D flat major for the Toreador for example. It was not easy for everyone to play especially in tonalities that Bizet didn't compose originally with.

@rojinsnow THANK YOU!!! I guess a lot of people who decide to comment on this video negatively forgot about all those other conditions in which we had to rehearse in. <3

i wanna see how many thumbs down i get for this.
trumpets sucked and i know cos i play the trumpet. and the strings were out.

didn't we play this in like 6th grade

Intonation can be MUCH better. They were speeding throughout the piece. Strings are not together, it sounds like there's 15 different sections. Heavy dissonance. Overall, articulation and tempo can be improved, mostly in the "Toreador" theme.
OKAY! PPL!!!! THIS IS 5TH GRADERS THRU 8TH GRADE! I THINK IT WAS GREAT FOR THE AGES! THEYRE NOT PROS!!! AND NOT TO MENTION THEY ONLY MET ON SATURDAYS FOR 7-8MONTHS(oh not to mention not every single sat, b/c ppl could be sick and there were auditions teachers and students had to attend to, and holidays, and vacations)YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH EFFORT WAS PUT INTO THIS PLUS THIS WAS NOT THE ONLY SONG PLAYED. THERE WERE OTHERS THAT HAD TO BE PRACTICED! SO JUST SHUT UP!
