@blacksabbathgnr098 No my idea of capitalism is the definition of the word capitalism. Capitalism has nothing to do with whether or not there's a government, capitalism is a system of ownership in which a private owner controls the work place and means of production, essentially work place feudalism where your boss controls your income.
So you favor state capitalism or state regulated capitalism over lolbertardian anarchocapitalism I take it? There's always surplus labor btw
@Laughingblades Your idea of capitalism is false. You make it sound like capitalism favors an absence of government intervention in the market place. And while this is true when it comes to things like trade barriers and wages, the role of government in a capitalism is vital for protecting a competitive nature between entities. True capitalism eradicates monopolies.
And boss don't simply choose what wage you receive. It's a factor of supply and demand, just like prices of goods.
@blacksabbathgnr098 oh? I though capitalism was a system of ownership in which a private employer controlled the work place and means of production.
In other words, your boss owns your job, decides what wage you will be paid irrespective of labor value or company earnings, and can deprive you of income while siphoning the wealth produced by your labor to the top.
That's what capitalism is. Trade isn't capitalism, neither is owning a shirt or a house.
I do not agree that socialism is a transitional stage, and socialism doesn't eliminate labor for wealth it eliminates labor for wages, wealth is still generated.
But there are many socialist philosophies and socialist models, ranging from libertarian socialism to cooperative market socialism to state socialism. The term is ambiguous, two socialist societies could end up working very differently.

I can't hear this properly, the paragraphs aren't in one string.
It's to hard to hear when the paragraph starts & ends.

Socialism is when the workers control the means of production, anything else is extra baggage.
