This was shot over turkey, instanbul airspace. The 747-400 was maintaining 34000 ft, mach .86 it seems, faster than .81 (type A310), onroute to frankfurt!

Contrails (Clouds of Combustion) will obviously by their physical presence change Atmosphere, weather and climate.

As to the night heat trapping v reflective day ( dimming) ill leave to scientists. Exhaust Contrails are regular machine made unlike natural cirrus and are spewed in a thin layer 8-12Km up.

With exhaust NOx linked to Ozone layer destruction , So2 making frozen Acid-Rain, just some more horrors to add to the Climate Changing, greed driven, unintentional Geo-engineering.

I prefer to believe the Worlds premier Aerospace research organization, NASA and the senior research scientist Patrick Minnis at NASA's Langley Research Center. With their News Release of 27 April 2004 and scientific paper Minnis et Al of the same year.

There was a study of weather data collected during the airflight ban after 9/11 that showed temperatures WARMED measurably, without the clouds formed by contrails.

Contrails are helping to mask the effects of global warming.
