What I never told you Chapter 6 part 2

HOLLY P.O.V

It had been a long day and I decided I should get the mail.
I walked down to the mailbox and pulled out a bunch of letters.
About three letters in I saw one with my name.

I saw it was a college letter and I also knew it was a acceptance or not accepted letter and that made it all the more nerve racking to open it, but I just sucked it up and pulled the envelope apart.

I opened it and glanced over the words. I looked up and for some unexplanational reason Jake came to mind and I wanted to share this with him.
Nobody was home yet so I grabbed my keys and jumped in the car.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" I asked knocking on the glass not seeing anyone. Isn't there suppose to be a keypad or something... I had only been to Jakes apartment
once and that was when me and Stephen picked him up once but I remembered where it was and now I stood here knocking on the door hoping to get someones attention.

I let out a sigh and stared in...now what? Jake didn't have a cell phone and I didn't exactly wanna call his house phone and say I was standing outside.

"What are you doing here?"

I turned around to see Jake standing behind me a amused smile on his face as he glanced down and back up at me.

"I came to see you" I half whispered "I don't want you to leave me alone.... I just go mad because of Stephen" I said trying to explain myself and he smiled again.

"I don't know.... what If I wanna leave you alone..." he said glancing down and I felt my heart sink into the lowest part of my stomach as I looked at him with out knowing what to say "I'm joking" he said as a big smile spread across his face.

I had to smile back at him and then I stepped forward and I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do or what Jake would think, but if he had feelings even close to mine then this was okay.

I leaned forward and the next thing I knew I was kissing him. It was wierd our lips just flowed together, not too soft not to hard it was just perfect.

We kissed for a long time...or at least I think it was a long time and I finally pulled away...or did he pull away...I think we did it at the exact same time and I stood there smiling at him as he smiled back.
