Lamar, why would you go and trick people in the first place. You did participate in this. If you went and collected a lot of money from this without being real, you...stole from people. Now you are coming "clean" . There are truly gifted people that do meditate everday for hours and do have spiritual gifts. They don't need to adverstise and fool people (like you did from the beginning). Are you jealous of the people that DO REALLY HAVE these true gifts????

I was at camp chesterfield when I was about 8 years old with my mother and grandmother. I am a complete believer in the spiritual world and peoples abilities to communicate or hear messages from spirits. Although it's sad to hear that camp chesterfield was bogus. Oh, well.

I have personally been to Camp Chesterfield and can honestly say that it is the big side show I have encountered.....and I am psychic, truly. They use trickery, illusions, all types of techniques to dupe people who sincerely want to believe what they hear and see. For me, it was just ridiculously transparent. Unfortunately, there are many frauds out there but not all psychics or mediums are frauds. This just happens to be an entire group of them.

I read Mr. Keene's book in the early 80's. I told some spiritualists that I knew had attended seances at Camp Chesterfield about the fraud discussed in the book.
They just looked at each other and laughed without commenting on what I had told them. I don't think that the fraud mattered to them.

Lamar was one of the most respected and believed in mediums in history.
Even after he admitted his fraud people still believed he was a medium. Even after he reported himself to the tax man in the US they turned away.
Mediumship is fraud, full stop. No medium in history has ever proven they can do anything they claim when the chance to cheat is removed.
