I am one of these 'walking wounded'. Not an aetheist but close to it.

I feel uncomfortable about Hillsong stuff etc. but people must know this, this woman is now an atheist which is not cool! no belief in God etc. some will say shes right or wrong in this video, Hillsong upset her etc. if they do really cause people that much stress and grief behind the scenes, thats not good news! on the otherhand, Tanya's biggest error is loosing focus on God. whatever happens to you in life, keep focus on God! not the people in a church

Most campsites with cabins as you write above, including bus trips activities food etc cost in the hundreds...

Could it be that a successful Church like Hillsong scares and unsettles the atheist community? while Catholic and mainline Protestant churches are emptying, Hillsong is growing at a phenemenol rate.....no wonder that this woman is a poster girl for the atheist camp....she reassures them.

Above all Hillsong makes people happy. So many people experience only pain and suffering and walk around with their Joy buttons turned off and because of this I am willing, despite being a comfirmed athiest, to just let it go.....if the warm embrace of a God and the actually genuine love you feel for him makes you happy then I encourage you too continue with your beliefs. In fact part of me wishes my faith wasn't dead.

Prosperity theology- PIGS BUM! What do they make of Mother Theresa's order who actually take a VOW of poverty? Shouldn't one's time be taken up ENTIRELY by acts of charity? Seems to me that Hillsong are wasting a LOT of time on facts and figures while indirectly condoning child abuse. ONYA Tanya

i don't understand, i thought he asked his dad to step down and for everyone to pray for his family? and why would you ask to look at church books anyway? that's no one's business except the people who handle the money.

I went to Hillsong's Bible college for for 5 months- I was originally planning on staying for a year or more- but I never once felt the presence of God, or actually experienced anything spiritual. I felt like I had to use my imagination to experience God during worship! I got so sick of having my life completely and utterly controlled by Hillsong that I had to leave. I moved interstate, and it took almost 8 months to finally realize that Hillsong are a cult.

Most Christian churches are money making machines. The government takes 25ish% but gives us hospitals, roads, police, and numerous authorities to ensure we are cared for. What do churches do with the 10%. There need not be any poverty with that kind of tax free money.

i agree with everything in this video. born again christians are not welcoming and are all about getting more money. i questioned the churches teaching and ive been banned from 5 churches now. i got out the church the hard way and will never go back
You know the video shows that Levin clearly is saddened by the loss of her faith, he community at Hillsong and if that is how they treated her then frankly Hillsong has a lot to answer for in regards to church discipline. It almost seems that Hillsong will aggressively stamp out anything that sounds dangerous to its core message, even if that means breaking a few people who don't fit the mould. I don't care if Hillsong have done a lot of good, it never justifies the many walking wounded today.
