Swiss politician gets giggles in parliament

Parliament is a serious business - but not for this senior Swiss politician. Finance minister Hans-Rudolf Merz succumbed to fits of giggles during a recent speech. You wouldn't expect many laughs to be found when discussing spiced meat imports. But the barely-comprehensible, bureaucratic jargon he had to tackle got the better of his funnybone. His stand-up performance has won him hundreds of thousands of Youtube fans - and a round of applause from his colleagues.

Just for Information: His name is Hans-Rudolf Merz. He is "Bundesrat" of Switzerland (like Federal Council) and he was laughing about a text which had to do with the import of meat, in the text were some funny statements. It shows that at the end the politicans are human beings, even they are controlled by higher finance monsters, which is breaking our neck! Thumbs up that everybody can see it...!!

Good for him - I havent had the giggles since I was a child. This can only improve his standing - po-faced, stoic, moustace twiddling, beard stroking politicians are too common. The man is Human - is this a crime?

Sei mal ruhig, wenn du nicht weist um was es geht. "Bündnerfleisch" ist einfach ein sehr lustiges Schweizerdeutsches wort, weil es eine spezifische Fleischsorte ist und es in einer Politischen rede zu hören, wird wohl einen guten Teil der Schweizer zum lachen bringen. :)

Es ist deshalb unlustig, weil der Kerl ja selber Politiker ist. Er und seinesgleichen haben ja diese Vorschriften ausgeheckt! Anstatt zu lachen, sollte der Idiot mal lieber dagegen stimmen.

the meat comes from outland, is going to be imported into switzerland and in switzerland, it becomes his spice and his dehydration. its also going to be packed in switzerland
