Becoming a parent may be the biggest responsibly we ever undertake. Use it wisely for the good of all humanity. We are after all one race. We all seek love and kindness from those around us. Its not hard to pass on these gifts to all those we share this beautiful planet with. The monster of hate, intolerance, bigotry, and prejudice can be slain. We just need to pass on the powerful weapon of love, understanding, tolerance, and charity to our children so they can tear down the monster. From this point humanity may finally rise up to its full height and walk proudly together into the future.

I don't think you get my point. Christianity is rooted in the old testament. Jesus supported the 10 commandments.

Do you have any idea how many good people died because of the 10 commandments?

They are quite obviously not the word of god nor is the old testament and yet Jesus supported it. What does that tell you about him?

People knew that stealing and murdering was wrong way before the time of Jesus.

Yet people were stoned to death for working on the sabbath or for worshiping the wrong god because it was against the commandments.

How do people come to realize that god doesn't want then to murder? Because they are smart enough to realize it is immoral! If it weren't for intelligence we'd still follow the moral teachings of the bible. And here you are saying we owe our morality to this violent nonsense!

I tell you what nullified the bible. It's called the constitiution, and when it was written it was done so in a secular fassion. Our founding fathers, some of whom were atheist, knew better than to allow religion to mix with governement There were so many different types of finatical Christians it would have torn the US apart otherwise. We live in a country where laws ang governement are totally seperate from religion. If the bible was the word of God why would it need to be modified?

well if your so versed in the bible you will know that when jesus did what he did when he was here he kinda nullified alot of the old laws that were obsolete so we didnt have to do shit like that, so that is why we dont do those things any more, they dont apply to our lives today, and they didnt apply to his time 2000 years ago either but anyways, yea thats where our laws come from today... the bible and 10 commandmentss
