@TheShottyCutScene That loss happened 4 years ago when he was only a "rookie".Mir was lucky against Nog,i mean Nog did his biggest mistake ever by not finishing Mir with strikes.Lesnar was a rookie when he got submitted by Mir,against Roy Nelson his perfomance was garbage,Cro Cop got KO-ed at the very end of the match by a lucky knee.Well against Cheick Kongo he did a great job indeed.Mir can do awesome things on the ground but his stand up skill is not so good

@Englis08 They actually have been, he got submitted by Joaquim Ferreria via arm bar. The guy may be a black belt in BJJ, but look at what Mir did against one of the best submission fighters ever (Big Nogs). Look what he did against somebody with a GREAT ground game (Both Roy Nelson and Lesnar). And then look what he did against Chieck Kongo and Cro Cop.

@TheShottyCutScene It does not matter if he is only 36 years old he is no near of his prime level.Just look at him basically he is suffering in UFC.Yeah Couture was world champ at 45 years old age again but that was another era.Mir does not have a chance against these beasts today.JDS's ground skills has not been tested yet so you cant say anything about it

@Englis08 Nogs isn't washed up, he's like 36. And Mir could EASILY be world champion again. Couture was world champ when he was like 45 ish. If Mir fought JDS and it went to the ground, which it eventually would, Mir would win.
