Rahxephon is a hard show to call, it's worth watching for an engaging story but I can't really say that I plan on watching it again. It's definitely edging towards the serious/darker end of the super robot genre, not as far as Evangelion but still it does leave you wondering how well things are going to end for the characters.

He's old enough to WATCH Empire, but maybe not old enough to appreciate it. When I first saw the Trilogy, which must've been when I was 3-5, Empire was my least favorite/least watched. It actually kinda scared me or made me sad, seeing the heroes just lose so badly like they did in Empire. Now that I'm older and understand it more, it's probably my favorite. The action is great, the character development is amazing and it's just a fantastic middle chapter and film as a whole.

I was 3 or 4 when my parents took me and my brothers to see Empire around the year it came out. I don't remember the movie but I sure remember going to a sears retail store afterwards and looking at star wars toys.....:)
