Hip-Hop Dance Moves: Cupid Shuffle

My name is Randy R.C. Connor, choreographer to the stars. I've worked with Britney Spears, P. Diddy Combs, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z. We're gonna just break down some moves, that you can use at the club, at the parties, at home, in your bathroom -- just have fun guys, so let's get started. C'mon! Hey, guys, and we're back. What we're about to do right now is the Cupid Shuffle. Now this dance is lots of fun; I really enjoy doing this piece in the club, okay. Now there's some basic steps that we have to get down to do the Cupid Shuffle. All right, and it goes a little something like this. We go step to the right, step to the right, step to the right, step to the right and left and left and left and left, okay. So we're going to the right and we're going to the left. After that we're just going heel to the ground, left, right and left and walk it out, boom, boom, boom. That's the basic step and it repeats itself, okay. And that's pretty much the Cupid Shuffle. Alright, so let's try that from the top. Here we go, we're gonna start from walking to the right, to the left, and then we're gonna walk it out, okay. Let's just try that, here we go. We got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and right, left, right, left and walk it out and and right, left, repeats itself. Good and left, two, three, four and right, left, right, left and walk it on out. Okay, so basically that's the Cupid Shuffle. So let's try to have some music and let's have some fun, guys, okay, here we go. Five, go with me now, five, six, to the right on eight, and one, two, three, four. And left, two, three, four. Step out, heel to heel, left, right, good and we're gonna walk. Nice, have fun, guys and to the right and right, left, right, left and left, right, left, good. And step, step, bounce, good and walk this one out, good. One more time, you all, and right, good, to the left and left, good, I see you doing the Cupid Shuffle, step it out, step, step, nice and walk it out, good. So now you can show off to your friends the Cupid Shuffle.
