  • costafortia, The 'Gitana instrumental" is Recuerdos De Jerez by Luis Villegas on his album - Casa Villegas. I've always been captivated by that tune - as I was by my boat. Some time ago, I posted a better quality version of that video on youtube, with more information.

    All best, Steve

  • Nice video Steve! That's what it's all about!

I'll take it over a stinkpotter any day!

Good thing that you didn't fall overboard!

    Lance

  • Thanks Lance and know what you mean. I really found the groove on that day but did have a harness & tether clipped on while taking the rail-hanger shots - horrible to imagine what would have happened if I fell overboard . . . with the autopilot activated!

  • I like the sailing and I like the music. Who was it? I'm going to do this someday.

  • What's the name of the Gitana instrumental?

  • this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I love wooden yachts, two-masted, just the quintesence of sailing, big enough to feel how much you can do with sails and not so big that you loose your close contact with sea... I'm looking forward to summer's sailing at Baltic Sea :) cheers :)

  • only on word can describe what i am feeling right now.... envious

  • muy bonito, le ha faltado enseñar la popa de este barco y la patronera , pero muy bonito, me encantan los Nuticat.

  • Very Beautiful boat!!

This is something i always wanted to do i am just starting to do some research on it. Let me ask how much sailing experience would you recommend for a long voyage trip solo?

  • Beautiful boat, mate!

  • nice.
