What I'd like to see, is a high-output laser being placed in the screen of every computer from now on, by all companies that make them. When some premature-ejaculating, pimply-faced geek sitting in his mother's basement tries to launch a virus, the laser will proceed to destroy the retinas in his eyes, permanently blinding him.

Stopping malware from being writtern? hmmm I thought that came from sensible users. IT's called limited user accounts, not clicking on unknown exucutables, that you don't know what they are, blocking scripts from unknown and potentially using a Sandbox like Sandboxie which is FREE!! Ooops! I said free didn't I? Yep you don't need to pay to protect your machine if you are halfway intelligent.
