Remembering Ibrahim Abu-Rabi

Former U of A Chair of Islamic Studies, Ibrahim Abu-Rabi, was widely admired for his unique ability to pull together communities - building bridges of understanding between those of different faiths and cultures - before his sudden death on July 2.
A memorial service held at the Telus Centre Sept. 30 was a testament to that high regard, as more than 300 people remembered this remarkable scholar his towering intellect and power to inspire.
