The S.S. Badger is a carferry that was built in 1953 by Christy Corp in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Originally used to transport passengers and rail cars, the S.S. Badger was refitted at the beginning of the 1990's to transport vehicles instead of rail cars. Making twice daily trips across Lake Michigan during the summer, the Badger has become a staple of the communities it services. Join Jake Heffernan as Cottonwood Studios takes you Onboard and Behind the Scenes of the last coal-fired passenger steamer on the Great Lakes.
